SHORT PRESENTATION OF THE EXOTARIUM-PROJECT IN TULA/RUSSIA
Tula Exotarium (City of Tula, Russia, 190 Km south of Moscow)
Tula Exotarium possesses one of the world largest
collections of snakes enlisting more than 525 species and sub-species.
Many of these snakes are kept only here and one cannot find them
anywhere else. Scientists of different Academies of Sciences and
Institutes as as well as zoo workers from different countries visit
Tula Exotarium frequently to learn the unique animals or methods of
their keeping
and raising. 3 species of snakes, new for the science, were described with our participation:

The Tula Exotarium is in the process of developing its next step forward to a bigger international center of Herpetology, combined with a University like, zoological campus.
